2023 Multisensory Math 2- Siena Onsite

This course was filmed at the Siena School in Fairfax VA during the summer, 2023. We had a wonderful group of educators and a few parents. The group was really interested in the diagnostic prescriptive approach, intervention and explicit instruction. We moved slowly through the review of core instructional strategies, so this course will include some snippets from the previous course and participants will have additional time to work through the content.

2025 Multisensory Math 2- Walsh University

This course was filmed at Walsh University in Canton Ohio in June of 2025 . We had a wonderful group of educators and a few parents. The group was really interested in the diagnostic prescriptive approach, intervention and explicit instruction. Some of the participants had just completed the MSM 1 course with Jennifer Scaffidi and Cindy O'Neill. This course also led to some work with a district in Ohio.

Dyslexia and ADHD Webinar: Live Discission with Dr. Karin Varblow

"Dyslexia and ADHD: Connections and Treatments," with Dr. Karin Varblow Dr. Varblow is a pediatrician with expertise in Behavioral Pediatrics and treating children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Her interest in ADHD and Behavioral Pediatrics has developed into more of a passion, and her treatment style addresses the unique needs of the patients and their family members. Dr. Varblow will discuss the intricate relationship between dyslexia and ADHD which frequently co-occur but can also mimic or mask each other, making diagnosis challenging. The presentation underscores the importance of understanding the distinct characteristics of both dyslexia and ADHD so that clinicians and academic therapists may learn to differentiate them. By doing so, clinicians may tailor appropriate treatment plans that address the unique needs of students with Dyslexia and ADHD.
